Alright, so I finally got around to messing with the “Adventurer’s Pack” for Baldur’s Gate 3. I’d heard some mixed things, mostly that it’s not really essential, but I figured, hey, why not? I’m already deep into this game, might as well see what it’s all about.
Getting Started
First things first, I had to actually, you know, get the pack. It’s part of the Digital Deluxe Edition upgrade, I already had the base game, so I just had to grab the upgrade.

Once that was done, I booted up the game, made some coffee, and loaded my latest save. I wasn’t expecting some big announcement or anything, and I didn’t get one. The new stuff is just kinda there.
Diving In
The main thing I was curious about was the new camp supplies. I am always running out, especially early on. So, I popped open my inventory, and sure enough, there was a nice little stack of supplies waiting for me. Nothing crazy, but definitely a welcome boost.
- Camp Supplies: Yep, got ’em. Enough for a couple of long rests, at least.
- Potions: A few extra healing potions. Can’t complain about that, they’re good to have around for some urgent healing moments.
The Verdict?
Honestly, it’s a nice little perk. Is it game-changing? Nope. But it did make my early game a little smoother, and the extra supplies are always good to have on my adventure trips. If you’re on the fence, and you’ve already sunk a ton of hours into Baldur’s Gate 3 like I have, it’s a fun little addition. If you are playing it for your first time, don’t sweat it, you are not missing out a lot.
