Alright, guys, so I’ve been diving deep into Pokemon Go lately, trying to really max out my Typhlosion. It’s one of my favorites, and I wanted to make sure I had the absolute best moveset for raids and, you know, just generally showing off.
First, I spent a good chunk of time just catching Cyndaquils. Gotta get that candy, right? I used a bunch of Pinap Berries to speed things up – double the candy, double the fun. I walked, I raided, I did whatever I could to find those little fire starters.

Once I had enough candy to evolve my best Cyndaquil (high IVs, of course – gotta be picky!), I hit that evolve button and bam! Typhlosion time. But the work wasn’t over yet. The moves it came with? Not so great.
The Real Grind: TMs
This is where the real fun(and frustrations) began. I needed to get the perfect moveset, and that meant using Charged TMs and Fast TMs. I started with Fast TMs. Let me tell you. I burned through so many of them. It felt like forever until I finally rolled Incinerate. I was watching the screen like a hawk, hoping, praying, and boom…Incinerate showed up!
Then came the Charged TMs. Oh boy. This was another rollercoaster. I wanted Blast Burn, the community day exclusive move. I burned through what felt like a million TMs. I was starting to think I’d run out before I got it. So, I get on my phone and find that if you missed community day, that is the only way. Finally after that last TM I did, I got it! Blast Burn!
My Winning Combination
- Fast Move: Incinerate
- Charged Move: Blast Burn
With Incinerate and Blast Burn, my Typhlosion is an absolute beast. It tears through gyms and raids. I’m so stoked with how it turned out. It takes time and can be annoying but, man, it’s worth it in the end.
So, that’s my Typhlosion journey. Go get ’em, trainers!
