Okay, so I’ve been hooked on Pokemon Go again lately, and I saw this thing about a Galarian Mr. Mime event. I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’d never even heard of a Galarian Mr. Mime before! Turns out, it’s a special regional variant, and it was gonna be available in the game, but only if you bought a ticket for a special research event. Hmm… I thought about it for a bit, and then figured, why not? I splurged and got the ticket.
Getting Started
First thing I did was, obviously, open up the Pokemon Go app. I made sure I had a good internet connection, ’cause nothing’s worse than trying to play with lag. The event started, and I got this special research task list. It was all about, like, catching Ice-type Pokemon, and doing some other stuff related to the Mr. Mime theme.

The Grind Begins
So, I started wandering around my neighborhood. I popped an incense to attract more Pokemon, and just started catching everything I saw. I needed to catch a bunch of Ice types, like Snover and Cubchoo, stuff like that. It was kinda cold outside, which felt appropriate, haha.
- Catch 30 Ice-type Pokemon.
- Evolve 3 Ice Type Pokemon.
- Take snapshot of ice type pokemon
I remember one task was to evolve some Ice-type Pokemon, so I made sure I had enough candies for those. Another one was to take snapshots of Ice-type Pokemon. Which I did!
The Reward
I kept at it, walking around, catching Pokemon, and completing these tasks. It took a few hours, and honestly, my fingers were getting a little numb from the cold, but I was determined. Finally, I finished all the research steps, and guess what? I got an encounter with a Galarian Mr. Mime!
I used a Golden Razz Berry, threw an Ultra Ball with a curveball, and…bam! Caught it! I was pretty stoked. It’s got this funny little dance it does, so that was neat to * was a great pokemon. I had a fun and lucky day!
After that, I could even evolve it into a Mr. Rime. After I catch it, I collect enough candies, and I evolved it. What a cool Pokemon.
So yeah, that was my Galarian Mr. Mime adventure. It was a fun little event, and I’m glad I decided to participate. Now I have a unique Pokemon to show off!
