Okay, so, the Guzzlord raid day, right? I’ve been waiting for this one, gotta get that shiny! So, I woke up pretty early, made sure my phone was charged, and grabbed my power bank, just in case. It’s always better to be prepared.
I met up with my usual raid group – shoutout to them, they’re awesome. We hit up our local Discord server and found out where most of the raids were gonna pop. There’s this one park nearby that always has a ton of gyms, so we headed straight there.

Getting Started
First gym, bam! Guzzlord, looking all menacing and, well, hungry. We jumped in, and it’s at this moment that I started to consider that maybe I could add some detail to the raid process, that should be exciting!
- Team Selection: I went with my trusty team: A strong fighter, A Fairy, A dragon, and two bug attackers, and a backup ice attacker. I’d checked a few guides online beforehand, so I knew what its weaknesses were.
- The Battle: The battle, it was pretty intense! People throwing in charged moves left and right. At some moment, I felt really intense!
And the Guzzlord, man, it hits hard. I must say, It actually took down two of my pokemon before we finally managed to beat it.
The Catching Part
Catching it, though? That was the real struggle. Premier Balls kept shaking, one, two, three, and then… breakout. I was down to my last few balls, heart pounding. Golden Razz Berry, excellent throw… and boom! Got it! Such a relief.
We hit up a few more gyms after that. Some raids were smoother, some were tougher, the usual deal. No shinies for me, unfortunately, but a couple of my friends got lucky. It’s all RNG, right?
The Wrap-Up
I finished the day with a decent haul of Guzzlord candy and a few good IV ones. I always use an IV checker app to see which ones are worth keeping. Plus, the XP and stardust from all those raids? Always a nice bonus.
All in all, it was a solid raid day. Good company, good hauls, and, lets just say, A good time.
