Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into DFO lately, and I gotta say, the Female Slayer? Total badass. I wanted to share my journey figuring her out, ’cause it was a bit of a rollercoaster.
Picking a Subclass
First thing’s first, you gotta pick a subclass. There are four, and honestly, they all looked cool, so it was tough.

- Sword Master: Seemed like the classic, you know? Swords, speed, all that.
- Demon Slayer: This one looked edgy, with whips and, well, demons.
- Vagabond: Dual-wielding! I always have a soft spot for dual-wielding.
- Dark Templar: Magic and shadows? Sounded interesting.
I ended up going with Vagabond. The dual wielding is so cool to me!.
Leveling Up (and Getting My Butt Kicked)
So, I started playing. I jumped into dungeons, started swinging my swords around… and promptly got wrecked. A lot. Turns out, just mashing buttons isn’t the best strategy. I had to, you know, actually learn the skills.
I spent some time just practicing combos. Hitting up the training room, figuring out which skills flowed into each other. It was kinda like learning a dance, finding the rhythm of the attacks.
Gear and Stuff
Then there was the gear. Oh boy, the gear. So many stats, so many options! I felt completely lost at first. I just started equipping whatever had the biggest numbers, which, in retrospect, was probably not the smartest move.
I found some guides by searching the internet, talked to some other players, and slowly started to understand what stats were good for my Vagabond. Things like Strength, Physical Critical Hit, and Attack Speed became my new best friends.
Awakening!
The awakening quests. Those were a trial. Seriously, some of those bosses were brutal. I had to upgrade my gear, stock up on potions, and really focus on dodging and timing my attacks. But man, when I finally got through them? The new skills were SO worth it.
Keep Going
I still play the DFO with my friends, and still practice the combos and enjoy the skill animation. The game is so fun!
So yeah, that’s my Female Slayer story so far. Still learning, still getting better, but definitely having a blast. If you’re thinking about trying her out, go for it! Just, uh, maybe don’t make the same mistakes I did at the beginning. Learn those skills, people!
