Okay, so today I decided to go on a little mission in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. My goal? Catching a mussel! I’ve been trying to complete my Critterpedia, and this little guy was on my list.
Getting Started
First things first, I made sure I had my wetsuit on. You can’t dive without it! I grabbed my wetsuit from storage, ran to the beach, and suited up.
The Dive
I waded into the ocean and started swimming around. I kept an eye out for bubbles – that’s the telltale sign of something to dive for. I saw some small, fast-moving shadows, and thought, “Maybe those are mussels?”
Nope! Mostly I found * of it.
Success!
Finally after many dives, I got it, I spotted a medium-sized shadow that wasn’t moving too fast. I took a deep breath, dove down, and swam towards it. And there it was – a mussel! I scooped it up.

I was so pumped! Another critter crossed off my list. It’s the little victories, you know? This game is all about taking it slow and enjoying the process, so I’m happy to get it.
