Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “aura map” thing, and I gotta say, it’s pretty wild. I’m not even sure I totally believe in auras, but the process itself was kind of… therapeutic? I guess? Anyway, here’s how I did my very own aura map.
First, I needed to, like, find a quiet spot. You know, get away from the chaos of everyday life. My bedroom, with the door shut and my phone on silent, seemed to do the trick. Dim lighting, no distractions—the whole nine yards.
Then came the sitting-and-breathing part. I just plopped myself down on the floor, cross-legged, like I was gonna meditate or something. I closed my eyes, took some deep breaths, and tried to, you know, “center myself.” Honestly, it felt a little silly at first, but after a few minutes, I started to feel pretty relaxed.
Next, I tried to “sense” my aura. I know, sounds crazy, right? But I just focused on the space around my body, trying to feel… something. Anything. Tingling? Warmth? Energy? After a while, I started to kind of imagine colors. It was like they were swirling around me, changing and shifting.
Getting it on Paper
- Big Paper: Found a big sheet of paper—not that easy, actually. Had to tape a few together.
- Colorful Tools: Grabbed some colored pencils, crayons, even some markers I found lying around.
- No Thinking, Just Drawing: The whole point, I figured, was to not overthink it. So I just started drawing whatever colors and shapes popped into my head.
So, I drew. I started with what I thought was the “core” color, right around where I imagined my body to be. Then I added other colors around it, layering them, blending them, letting the colors just kind of… flow. No rules, no judging, just letting my hand do its thing.
It took a while. I’d open my eyes every now and then, check the drawing, then close my eyes again and try to “reconnect” with my aura. The colors changed a few times. Sometimes they were bright and bold, other times they were more muted and pastel. It was weird, but kind of cool.
Finally, I felt like I was “done.” I opened my eyes and looked at the drawing. It was… interesting. A mess of colors, really, but in a way, it felt like… me. Or at least, a snapshot of me in that moment.
I don’t know if I captured my “true” aura or whatever. Maybe it was just a fun art project. But honestly, the whole process was surprisingly relaxing and kind of insightful. It felt good to just focus on myself, on my feelings and my energy, and to express it in a creative way.
Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s definitely a unique way to spend an afternoon. And hey, even if auras aren’t real, the relaxation and the weird, colorful drawing are worth it, I think.
