Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Teamfight Tactics (TFT) lately, and I stumbled upon this Olaf carry comp that’s been surprisingly effective. I wanted to share my experience because, honestly, it’s been a blast.
Getting Started
>

First things first, I’m no TFT expert. I usually just mess around with different comps, but I noticed a lot of people were trying out Olaf, so I thought, “Why not?” I hopped into a normal game to test the waters. The initial plan was to just kinda force it and see what happens.
Early Game Scramble
The early game was a bit rough, I’ll admit. I was prioritizing getting my core items which were for olaf, and a bow. Luckily, I got a few Olafs early on, but my board was pretty weak. I was losing rounds, taking damage, and generally feeling like I was gonna crash and burn. I think I even dropped down to like 40 health at one point. Classic TFT experience, right?
The Turning Point
Then, around the mid-game, things started to click. I managed to hit a few key upgrades, I think I got Olaf 2-starred, and some of the supporting units. I also slapped on any suitable items I could find. At this point i can try find some of my support units, which was a braum, a zyra. That’s when I started to see the potential.
Building the Dream Team
>
The comp really starts to shine when you can get a decent number of Warriors. I focused on getting Warriors as possible. You also get Duelist, Skirmisher. It makes olaf and your team beefy. And, of course, the Duelist synergy is crucial for Olaf’s attack speed.
- Olaf: This guy is your main carry. Get those items on him.
- Other Warriors: You’ve got options here, but I found that adding any Warriors is good.
- Braum: To hold some defense.
- Zyra: To support Braum.
Late Game Domination
>
By the late game, my Olaf was a monster. With the right items, he was just shredding through enemy teams. The attack speed boost from Duelist combined with the sustain, meant he could pretty much 1v9 some fights. It was insane! I even managed to win a few rounds against players who were supposedly “countering” me. Feels good, man.
The Result
I ended up winning the game with Olaf CARRY! Even I was surprised, to be honest. From nearly crashing out early to dominating the late game, it was a wild ride. I have play this comp several times and it all turn out to be a success.
So, if you’re looking for a fun and surprisingly strong comp to try in TFT, give this Olaf carry build a shot. It might take a bit of practice, and you might need some luck with the rolls and items, but when it works, it really works. Good luck, and have fun!
