Alright, so I wanted to mess around with the Omega Strikers logo. I’m not a designer, not even close, but I figured, “Why not?” It looked kinda cool, and I wanted to see if I could recreate something like it, just for fun.
First, I spent like an hour just staring at different versions of the logo online. Seriously, I just Googled it and looked at a bunch of images. Trying to figure out what shapes were actually in there. It’s not as simple as it first looks!

Then, I opened up my trusty old image editor – nothing fancy, just a basic one I have on my computer. I started by trying to make the big, bold “O” shape. That seemed like the foundation of the whole thing. I used the circle tool, made a big ol’ circle, and then another smaller one inside to cut out the middle. So far, so good, right?
The Tricky Parts
- The pointy bits: This is where I started to struggle. The logo has these sharp, angular parts coming off the “O.” I tried using the polygon tool, making triangles, and trying to line them up. It…wasn’t pretty. It took a lot of fiddling, rotating, and resizing to get them even remotely close to the right position.
- The Colors: I’m terrible with colors. I just used the eyedropper tool to pick colors directly from the original logo images I found. Even then, I wasn’t sure if I got it exactly right. I tried to add a bit of a gradiant to it, but it might look slightly different than the original.
- Getting everything aligned: Seriously, this was a nightmare. Making sure everything was symmetrical and lined up properly was super frustrating. I think I spent more time nudging things around by a pixel or two than actually drawing the shapes.
After a few hours of messing around, I had something that kinda resembled the Omega Strikers logo. It’s definitely not perfect. The angles aren’t quite right, the colors might be a bit off, and it’s probably not as smooth as the real thing.
But hey, I did it! It was a fun little experiment, and I learned a bit about how much work goes into even a seemingly simple logo. It gave me a whole new appreciation for graphic designers. They make it look so easy!
