Okay, so, today I was all in on trying to snag a Vileplume in Pokémon Go. I’ve been seeing them pop up a little more lately, and I really wanted to add a strong one to my team. I started my day by checking the nearby radar.
I walked around my usual spots – you know, the park, the little shopping center, places where I’ve had luck before. No Vileplume. But, I did manage to evolve a few Oddish into Gloom, working my way up, so, that felt good.
Mid-Day Grind
I kept at it through the afternoon. I used a couple of Incense to try and draw more Pokémon to me, and I even popped a Lucky Egg to double my XP gains while I was hunting. Still no Vileplume sightings, but I leveled up.
The Final Push
I was getting close to give up the day.

- The final Incense used.
Then, boom! There it was, a Vileplume on my radar, just a couple of blocks away. I booked it over there, heart pounding a little – I really wanted this one.
I tapped on the Vileplume, and it popped up on my screen. It was a pretty decent CP, too! I threw a few Razz Berries to make it easier to catch, and then I went for it with Ultra Balls. First one, it broke free. Second one, same thing. I was starting to sweat a little. Finally, on the third Ultra Ball, I got it!
I was so stoked! It wasn’t the highest CP Vileplume ever, but it was solid, and I was just happy to finally have one. It’s a good reminder that sometimes, you just gotta keep at it, even when it feels like you’re not getting anywhere. Persistence pays off, even in Pokémon Go!
