Okay, so I’ve been trying to get a good Charizard build for the Ultra League in Pokémon GO. It’s been a bit of a journey, let me tell you!
The Initial Grind
First, I caught a bunch of Charmanders. Like, a LOT. I spent a whole weekend just walking around, tapping on every orange lizard I could find. My phone battery hated me by the end of it.

I used Pinap Berries whenever I could to maximize the candy. Gotta get that candy!
The Evolution and Power-Up Struggle
Finally, I evolved my best Charmander. I was so hyped! But then… the CP was way too low for Ultra League. So, the power-up grind began. More walking, more catching, more Stardust farming. It felt like it took forever.
I also used up a bunch of Rare Candies. I know, I know, some people say to save them, but I was impatient!
Moveset Mayhem
Then came the moveset struggle. I used a few Charged TMs trying to get Blast Burn, but no luck. I was starting to get really frustrated. I was keep getting other moves.
- I thought it was easy to get the move, but I was wrong.
- I tried many times to get it.
Finally Success
Finally, I waited for special event, then I got Blast Burn! And with a bit more powering up, my Charizard was finally Ultra League ready. It was a long process, but totally worth it. Now I can battle, and it feels great to see my Charizard in action!
