Alright, guys, so I finally snagged the Keystone Master mount for Season 3, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it. I wanted to share how I went about it, in case anyone else is working towards it.
Getting Started
First things first, I focused on getting my item level up. I ran a bunch of regular Mythic dungeons, did my weekly quests, and basically just tried to get the best gear I could before really diving into Mythic+. It made a huge difference.

Finding a Group
Next, I knew I needed a solid group. PUGs (pick-up groups) can be hit or miss, so I spent some time on the group finder tool. It can be pretty frustrating, some groups were, uh, lets just say “not very good”. I also joined a few Discord communities focused on Mythic+. That helped a ton in finding people who were serious about pushing keys.
Pushing the Keys
Once I had a decent group, we just started hammering out those dungeons. We started with lower keys, just to get a feel for each other and the affixes. We used voice chat, Discord, which is pretty much mandatory if you want to do anything above a +10, i think. We talked about strategies before each pull, who was interrupting what, and when to use cooldowns. I was learning the best route, and getting better.
- We focused on one dungeon at a time. Got really good at it, then moved on to the next.
- We paid close attention to the affixes. Some weeks were way easier than others.
- We didn’t get discouraged by wipes. It happens. We learned from our mistakes and kept going.
- We also keep track the time. Because we need to complete the dungeon in time.
The Final Push
After weeks of grinding, we finally got all the dungeons timed at +10 or higher. It was a great feeling, I am so happy. I claimed the achievement and got my awesome new mount, the Verdant Armoredon! Now i can riding it around in Valdrakken, pretty cool.
It was a lot of work, but honestly, it was a lot of fun too. If you’re going for the KSM mount, just keep at it, find a good group, and don’t give up!
