Okay, so I’ve been on this Pokémon Go kick lately, and I really wanted to snag a Galarian Mr. Mime. It’s not something you see every day, you know? So, I started digging around to figure out how to get one.
My Hunt for Galarian Mr. Mime
First, I checked the in-game news, just in case there was some special event going on. Nothing. Then, I looked at some online forums. It turns out, Galarian Mr. Mime isn’t just wandering around in the wild. Bummer.

I found out that you usually need to get it through special research tasks, or sometimes from eggs during specific events. I missed a research event a while back, which was a real downer, So I kept an eye out for any new events.
I started doing every research task I could find, spinning every PokéStop, hoping for something, anything. No luck for weeks.
- Spun hundreds of Pokéstops.
- Completed countless field research.
- Hatched a ton of eggs.
And you won’t believe this- Then, boom! A special weekend event popped up, and it featured Galarian Mr. Mime in 7km eggs! I was so pumped. I grabbed all the incubators I could and started walking, and walking, and walking. My legs were about to fall off, I swear.
I got a bunch of 7km eggs from gifts – thanks to all my friends, by the way – and I stuck them in incubators as fast as I could.
Finally, after hatching what felt like a million eggs, there it was! That little Galarian Mr. Mime popped out, and I nearly jumped for joy. It was totally worth all the walking.
So, yeah, that’s my Galarian Mr. Mime story. Keep an eye on those events, folks, and don’t give up!
