Okay, so I wanted to figure out how long Fortnite downtime usually lasts. You know, those times when you’re all hyped up to play, and then… bam… update time. It’s super annoying, so I did some digging.
My Little Research Adventure
First, I jumped onto the web, just casually browsing around. I found some stuff saying that typical downtime for, like, regular weekly or every-other-week updates is usually somewhere between one and two hours. That seemed pretty reasonable.
- Normal updates: 1-2 hours.
But then I remembered those bigger updates – you know, when they drop a whole new season, like that awesome Fortnite OG. Those are a different beast entirely. The info I found said that for those mega-updates, you could be waiting for even longer than FOUR hours! Ouch.
- New Season: It could be over 4 hours!
So basically, I learned that it depends on the update size. The smaller updates? You might only be stuck waiting for a little bit. Big updates? You should grab some snacks, maybe do a little dance, call your mom, watch some TV, you’ll be waiting more than 4 hours.
So, next time you see that Fortnite’s down, you have a rough idea of how long you should be prepared to find other entertainment and wait. That’s my advice, learned it the hard way!
