Okay, folks, let’s dive into my little adventure with MLB The Show 20 Diamond Dynasty cards.
I started, like most people I guess, by just playing the game. I wasn’t really thinking about Diamond Dynasty at first. I was just messing around with exhibition games, getting a feel for the controls, you know?

Then, I stumbled upon Diamond Dynasty mode. It looked kinda complicated, all these cards and players and stuff. But I decided to give it a shot anyway.
First thing I did was open up those starter packs they give you. Nothing amazing, mostly bronze and silver players. I remember thinking, “Well, this is gonna take a while.”
Building My Team
I started grinding out some of the easier challenges and moments. You know, those single-game things where you have to get a certain number of hits or strikeouts. It was slow going, but I started to earn some Stubs (that’s the in-game currency) and some packs.
- I focused on completing daily missions. Free stuff, right?
- I played a bunch of Conquest games. It’s a good way to earn packs and XP without too much pressure.
- I avoided the marketplace at first. Prices seemed crazy high, and I didn’t have many Stubs to play with.
- I also tried showdown,but I failed a *’s not that easy,man!
My First Diamond!
I remember it like it was yesterday. I finished a Conquest map, and boom, there it was in a pack – a shiny, beautiful Diamond card! I forget who it was exactly, some pitcher I think, but I was hyped! It felt like a huge accomplishment.
Keep on Grinding
After that first Diamond, I was hooked. I kept playing, kept grinding, kept opening packs. I slowly but surely started to build a respectable team. It wasn’t all top-tier Diamonds, but it was good enough to compete.
I even dabbled in the marketplace a bit, trying to snipe some deals. That’s a whole other game in itself, let me tell you. I did some success, but also lost some.
So, that’s my story with Diamond Dynasty. It’s a grind, no doubt, but it can be pretty fun and rewarding. You just gotta be patient and keep plugging away. And most importantly,It’s just a game, have fun!
