Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Gran Turismo 7 lately, and one thing that’s been a constant focus is snagging those sweet rides from the Used Car dealership. Figured I’d share my experience and how I’ve been tackling the ever-changing lineup.
My Used Car Hunt
First thing I do every day, literally every day, is boot up GT7 and head straight for the Used Car section. It’s like a morning ritual now. You never know what gems might pop up, and I’ve learned the hard way that if you see something you want, you gotta grab it!

I started by just browsing, you know, window shopping. Seeing what was available, getting a feel for the prices. I quickly realized that the selection changes daily, so what’s there today might be gone tomorrow. It’s a bit of a gamble, but that’s part of the fun.
Then I started making a list. Just a simple, handwritten list of cars I was interested in, and their prices. Nothing fancy, just jotting down the make, model, and credit cost. I kept this list next to my PS5, so I can easily compare prices and see if a car is a “good deal”.
My process, step-by-step:
- Check Daily: Like I said, religiously checking the Used Car lot every single day.
- Make Notes: Jotting down cars I’m interested in and their prices in my little notebook.
- Prioritize:Making some hard choices in my list. Which car do I need now for a specific race or championship?
- Grind for Credits: Some of those cars are EXPENSIVE. So, I’ve been hitting the races hard to earn those credits.
- Buy Smart: Finally, I pull the trigger! If a car on my list is available, and the price seems right (compared to my notes), I buy it.
It’s been a bit of a grind, but I’ve managed to snag some pretty awesome cars this way. And it’s kind of addictive, always checking to see what new (well, used) cars have shown up.
One day I was short a few credits and could only watch as my dream car was bought by another player. So make sure you keep enough credits handy!
It is pretty basic so far, but you know, slow and steady.
Hope this helps some of you fellow GT7 players out there!
