Okay, so I saw this “dog pokemon” thing trending and thought, “Why not?” I mean, who doesn’t love dogs and Pokemon? Seemed like a fun little project to mess around with.
First, I brainstormed. I mean that I started to figure out how I am gonna make this * kind of dog? What kind of Pokemon? Should it be a tough-looking dog with like, fire powers? Or maybe a fluffy one with psychic abilities? My head was spinning with possibilities!

Finding the Right Images
-
I hit up some free image sites. You know, the ones where you can grab pictures without getting into copyright trouble. I needed a good, clear picture of a dog – preferably one that looked kinda… determined.
-
Then, I searched for some Pokemon images. I wanted something that wasn’t too complicated, because, let’s be honest, I’m not a professional artist or something. I wanted to start easy at first.
Mashing them Together
I opened up my trusty old image editing software. Nothing fancy, just something that lets me crop, resize, and layer images.I played around, put the picture dog on the background, resize it.
Then I dragged the Pokemon picture, and placed it beside the dog picture.I tried different positions, sizes… It looked totally ridiculous at first.
Then I thought, “Okay, how can I make this look a little more… natural?”
The Finishing Touches
I add some element on the dog to make it seems like a real pokemon.I also added a name tag below them, so people who see it will know what I am doing.
It’s not perfect, far from a masterpiece. But hey, it was a fun way to kill an hour, and I actually learned a thing or two about playing with images.
