Alright, guys, so the other day I was sitting around, playing some League, and this random thought popped into my head: “I wonder how much my League of Legends account is actually worth?” I’ve been playing on and off since, like, season three, and I’ve sunk a ton of time (and yeah, okay, a bit of money) into this game. So, I decided to do some digging.
My first move was to just Google it. You know, the usual “how much is my league account worth” search. I found a bunch of websites that claimed to calculate your account’s value, seemed simple right?

Trying Out Account Calculators
I jumped onto one of these sites. I won’t name names, but it was one of the top results. The process was pretty straightforward:
- Enter Summoner Name: Easy enough, typed in my summoner name.
- Select Region: Chose my server.
- Wait for the Magic: Hit the button and waited for it to do its thing.
The site churned for a bit, and then… BAM! It spit out a number. Honestly, it was lower than I expected. It factored in things like my rank, number of skins, champions owned, and even my blue essence balance. But it felt… off.
I tried a couple of other calculators, just to be sure. The numbers varied, some higher, some lower, but none of them really felt right. They were all just using some basic algorithm, and it didn’t seem to account for the stuff that I knew made my account special like my limited edition skins from events.
Digging Deeper and Getting Real
Then I hit up some forums and groups and saw what other players were saying. This is where things got interesting. People were talking about factors that the calculators completely ignored:
- Rare Skins: Things like PAX Twisted Fate or Championship Riven – these weren’t showing up in the calculations, but they can add some serious value.
- Original Ownership: Apparently, having the original email address associated with the account matters a lot.
- Account History: A clean account, with no bans or warnings, is obviously worth more.
It became clear pretty quickly that those automated calculators were, well, kinda useless for a real appraisal. They’re okay for a very rough estimate, but if you’re serious about selling, or even just curious about the true value, they’re not going to cut it.
So, what did I learn from my little experiment? Basically, figuring out the real worth of your League account is messy. Those online calculators are a starting point, but they’re far from the whole story. If you’re actually thinking about selling, you’ll need to do your homework and consider the unique aspects of your account, talk to other players, and maybe even get an appraisal from someone who really knows the market. I haven’t decided if I will sell my account or not, the fun of playing outweighs that right now.
