Okay, so I’ve been grinding away in Diablo 2 Resurrected, trying to get the perfect gear. And one of the things I’ve really been focusing on is crafting amulets. You know, trying to get that god-tier amulet that just makes your build sing.
So, I started by gathering up all the materials. You need a magic amulet, of course, a perfect gem (I used Amethysts mostly), a Jewel, and a specific Rune. For caster amulets, which is what I was mostly going for, it’s the Ral rune. I farmed a ton of Countess runs to get enough Ral runes.

I then dumped everything into the Horadric Cube. Put in the magic amulet, the Ral rune, a perfect Amethyst, and a jewel. I crossed my fingers and hit that transmute button.
The first few tries… well, they were pretty awful. Like, really bad. + to some useless skill, low resistances, just junk. I felt like chucking my computer out the window a couple of times. I was about throw the whole thing * was just so frustrating!
But I kept at it. I farmed more materials, more runs, more gems, more everything. Kept throwing them into the cube and… bam! I finally got a decent one! It wasn’t perfect, but it had +2 to Paladin skills (which is what I was playing), some faster cast rate, and a bit of strength. I was pumped! It was a definite upgrade.
My Crafting Routine
- Gather Materials: Magic amulets (I tried to use ilvl 90+ ones, gambled for them from Anya), Ral runes, Perfect Amethysts, and any jewels.
- Cube It Up: Throw everything into the Horadric Cube.
- Transmute: Hit the button and pray to the RNG gods.
- Repeat: Do it all over again… and again… and again.
I learned that it takes a lot of tries to get something good. You’re going to craft a bunch of trash, that’s just how it is. But when you finally hit that one with the right combination of stats, it makes it all feel worthwhile.
So my advice? Don’t give up! Keep crafting, keep farming, and eventually, you’ll get that amazing amulet you’re looking for. Just be prepared for a bit of a grind… okay, maybe a lot of a grind.
