Alright, guys, let’s talk about something I’ve been messing around with – a class tier list for WoW Classic. I wanted to figure out, for myself, what classes really shine and which ones… well, not so much. So, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.
Digging into the Data
First, I scoured the internet. I checked out forums, old guides, you name it. I wanted to get a general sense of what people thought were the top dogs and the underdogs. I didn’t want to just blindly follow other people’s opinions, but I figured it was a good starting point.

My Own Experiments
Then, I actually played the game! Shocking, I know. I leveled up a few different classes, focusing on the ones that seemed interesting or controversial. I tried out different specs, ran some dungeons, and even did a little bit of PvP (though I’m no expert there).
- I started with a Warrior, because everyone says they’re amazing tanks. And yeah, they’re pretty solid.
- Then I tried a Mage, because, well, who doesn’t love flinging fireballs? They’re great for damage, that’s for sure.
- I even dabbled with a Priest, because healing seemed important. And it is! Keeping people alive is surprisingly fun.
- I even try a warlock, and they destory any boss with high DPS.
Putting it All Together
After all that playing and researching, I started putting together my own tier list. It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely based on my experiences, but here’s the gist of it:
- Top Tier: Warriors (for tanking), Mages (for damage), Priests (for healing). These guys just felt really strong and useful.
- Middle Tier: Rogues, Warlocks, Hunters. They’re good, but maybe not quite as consistently amazing as the top tier.
- Lower Tier: Paladins, Druids, Shamans. Look, I’m not saying they’re bad, but they just felt a little less powerful or versatile compared to the others, at least in my experience.
The Final Result
So, that’s my take on the WoW Classic class tier list. It was a fun little project, and it definitely helped me understand the classes a bit better. Remember, this is just my opinion, and your mileage may vary! The best class is the one you enjoy playing the most. Go out there, experiment, and have fun!
