Okay, so today I decided to dive back into Pokémon Go and try to snag myself a Galarian Meowth. I’d heard they were spawning more frequently, and I’m always up for adding a new ‘mon to my collection.
First things first, I made sure my app was updated. You never know when those sneaky updates will add new features or Pokémon, and I didn’t want to miss out. Then, I grabbed my power bank – gotta keep that phone juiced up for a long hunting session, you know?

Getting Started
I stepped outside and just started walking around my neighborhood. I figured a good stroll would increase my chances of encountering, well, anything! I also popped an Incense to attract more Pokémon to my location. Gotta maximize those odds, right?
My Strategy (or Lack Thereof):
- Walk around. A lot.
- Use Incense.
- Keep an eye on the “Nearby” radar.
- Cross my fingers.
I wandered around for a good hour, catching the usual Pidgeys and Rattatas, but no sign of the Galarian Meowth. I was starting to get a little discouraged, but hey, that’s part of the game, isn’t it?
Then by checking the nearby Pokémon list and found it was actually showing on the list! I was excited and immediately check at the Pokestop.
Finally, I saw it! That little spiky fur ball popped up on my screen, and I almost dropped my phone in excitement. I carefully tossed a Great Ball (wasn’t taking any chances) and… got it! Woohoo!
It wasn’t a super high CP or anything, but I was still stoked. It’s always fun to add a new Pokémon to the Pokédex, especially one with a unique regional form.
And after I evolved it I got my Perrserker.
So, yeah, that was my Galarian Meowth adventure. Nothing too crazy, but a fun little hunt nonetheless. If you’re trying to get one yourself, my advice is just to be patient and keep walking. And maybe stock up on Poké Balls – you never know when you’ll need them!
