Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this whole “infinite scales dragonflight” thing in Dragonflight, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share my experience, from start to finish, because it took some figuring out!
First, I started by just flying around, exploring. You know, the usual Dragonriding stuff. I’d heard whispers about these “infinite scales” and how they could boost your Dragonriding abilities, so I was keeping my eyes peeled.

Finding the First Few
My initial approach was pretty basic. I flew to high peaks, looked around obvious landmarks, and generally just tried to cover as much ground as possible. It felt a bit random, to be honest. I found a couple this way, mostly by accident. It was exciting each time, like a little treasure hunt!
- I noticed they often spawned near those dragon glyph things. Not always, but often enough that I started making a point of checking those areas.
- I also started paying more attention to the mini-map. Sometimes, you’d see a little sparkle or something, and that would be a clue.
Getting Serious
After a while, I realized that my haphazard approach wasn’t going to cut it. I wanted all the scales, not just a few random ones. So, I did what any self-respecting gamer would do: I hit the internet.
I spent a good chunk of time reading guides. I followed along on routes that other people figured out. This was a game-changer. No more aimless flying! I was picking up scales left and right.
The Payoff
It took time, It took a lot of flying, but collecting the scales finally finished. The boost in Dragonriding is amazing and worth to do.
That’s my story. It’s not a super technical guide, but it’s my real experience. Hopefully, it gives you a little insight into what the whole “infinite scales” thing is all about!
