Alright, so the other day, my buddy hit me up to play PowerWash Simulator together. I’d been playing solo for a while, cleaning up virtual dirt and having a surprisingly good time, but I had no clue how to actually join up with friends. So, I started poking around.
Figuring Out the Multiplayer Thing
First, I launched the game, obviously. Then I clicked on “Career Mode”. I was a bit confused at first, thinking maybe I had to be in a specific mode, but it turns out it’s pretty straightforward.

Once I was in Career Mode, I saw a button that says “Free play”,I clicked this one and selected any stage I want to play.
Then, I pressed Esc on my keyboard to find more options.
Getting My Friend In
- I clicked “Invite Friend,” and the game brought up my Steam friend list. Easy peasy.
- I found my friend’s name and clicked “Invite.”
Then a pop-up message showed up saying “Waiting for (My friend’s name) to accept your invite.”
My friend get the invite, and he accepted it, Boom, he was in!
The Actual Washing
We spent the next hour just blasting away at grime and having a blast. It’s way more fun with a friend, I gotta say. We were coordinating who was tackling which part of the, uh, whatever we were cleaning. It was a good time.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s not rocket science, but it took me a minute to figure out the whole invite process. Now, we’re planning our next cleaning session, and I’m actually looking forward to spraying virtual water at virtual dirt. Who knew?
