Okay, so today I decided to finally figure out this whole “Burn Genesect” thing. I’ve seen it mentioned in Pokemon GO groups, and honestly, I was a little lost. Let’s dive in together!
Getting Started
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up Pokemon GO. I knew Genesect was involved, and I vaguely remembered something about different “Drives.” That’s where I started my digging.
The Drive Dilemma
I scrolled through my Pokemon storage, found my Genesect, and tapped on it. Yep, there it was – the “Techno Blast” move. And below that, the option to change its Drive. I’ve got a few in my inventory from past events, include Burn Drive.
Making the Change
- Tapped the item icon.
- Choose the “Burn Drive”.
- Clicked the “yes” when the app asks if I was sure.
Boom! My Genesect now knows “Techno Blast (Burn).”It’s fire-type now! Pretty simple, right? I tested it out in a quick battle, and it worked great. It’s a visual change too, my Genesect’s got a cool red glow on it’s back now.
Final Thoughts
So, that’s all there is to it. Swapping Drives on Genesect is super easy. Don’t be like me and wait forever to try it out. It’s a fun way to change up your battle strategy, and give Genesect some type advantages it wouldn’t normally have. And from my experience, find a raid is the quickest way to get it!
