Alright, so I dove headfirst into the 2024 League item changes. I wanted to get my hands dirty and really see what’s what. I’m no pro, just a regular player who loves to tinker.
First thing I did was jump into the Practice Tool. No point messing up my ranked games while I’m still figuring things out, right? I picked my go-to champ, grabbed a few of the reworked items, and just started hitting dummies. It was pretty messy at first.
My First Attempts Were All Over The Place
- I tried out some of the new mage items. The damage felt…different. Had to adjust my usual build path.
- Then I switched to a tank, see how those changes felt. The resistances were noticeable, but I kept getting bursted down faster than I expected.
- I totally messing up a new assasin item. I keep fail my combos.
After a couple of hours of just whacking dummies and testing build, I started to get a feel for some things. I moved on to some bot games. I have been played games with the real item changes. The pace of the game felt faster, somehow. Fights were breaking out earlier, and people were getting blown up quicker.
I experimented with different item combinations. I went to * to check some ideas, and found some cool item combinations, and started seeing what worked and what didn’t. Some builds felt amazing, others were total flops. I think I fed my lane opponent like 10 kills in one game. Oops.
Finally Get Some Ideas
After a whole bunch of games (and a few rage quits, not gonna lie), I think I’m starting to get a handle on things. I’ve got a couple of new builds that I’m feeling pretty good about. I jumped into some ranked games to see how they’d hold up under pressure.
It’s still early days, and I’m sure the meta will shift, but for now, I’m feeling pretty optimistic about these changes. They’ve definitely shaken things up, and I’m excited to see how it all plays out. It’s gonna be a wild ride, I can tell you that much!
