Okay, so I saw the buzz about the new Coven skins in League of Legends and, like everyone else, I got super hyped. I just had to check them out for myself.
First I opened the game,you konw, launch the League client.
Then I jumped straight into the PBE (Public Beta Environment).I have got an account for the PBE server. If you don’t have the PBE client and account, you’ll need to sign up for that first.
Here’s what I did, step-by-step:
- Logged into the PBE client.
- Went to the store.
- Checked out the “Skins” section,of course.
My Experience
I started browsing, looking for the new Coven skins. There they were! Nami, and man she is awesome,I decided to try out Coven Nami first.I purchased the skin, equipped it, and hopped into a custom game,I just wanted to see all the animations and effects without the pressure of a real match.
I spent a good hour just messing around, checking out the recall animation, her abilities. I just keep testing skins in game and so happy to see this. The visual effects are insane! And the sound design? Chilling, seriously, it’s so good.I was totally geeking out over it. I am sure that I will use it in my rank game later.
After playing,I go back to the store page to see other Coven skins.I repeated the process for a few of the other new Coven skins.I try to use them,and see their skill effects.
I think they totally nailed the dark, witchy aesthetic. These are definitely some of the coolest skins they’ve released in a while!
