Alright, guys, so I’ve been diving deep into Pokemon Go lately, trying to beef up my team. And let me tell you, Nidoking has been a real MVP for me. But it’s all about the moveset, right? So, I went on a mission to figure out the absolute best moveset for this beast.
First, I started messing around with different combinations. I tried some of the recommended ones I saw floating around, but honestly, they just weren’t clicking for me. I was getting wrecked in raids and PvP battles. It was frustrating, to say the least.
My Experimentation Process
- I spent a good chunk of time – and I mean, a lot of Stardust and TMs – switching up Nidoking’s moves.
- I battled my friends, joined random raids, even took on some Team Rocket grunts just to test things out. It was trial and error, big time.
- I kept notes. Yep, good old-fashioned pen and paper. I tracked which moves seemed to do the most damage, which ones charged up fast, and which ones left me vulnerable.
After a ton of battles, and a few rage-quitting moments (we’ve all been there!), I finally landed on a moveset that just works.
The Winning Combination
For the fast move, Poison Jab all the way,it hits fast and builds up that energy for your charged move like a dream.
Then, and it is The Key, for the charged move, it’s gotta be Earth Power. This thing hits like a truck. It absolutely demolishes other Pokemon, especially those pesky Electric and Rock types that used to give me so much trouble.
I was honestly surprised how well this combo worked. Suddenly, I was winning battles I used to lose. My Nidoking was actually, you know, king.
