Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Palworld lately, and let me tell you, the admin commands are a game-changer. Seriously, I spent a good chunk of today just figuring them out, and I wanted to share what I learned because, honestly, it was a bit of a pain to piece together from all over the place.
Getting Started with Admin Powers
First things first, you gotta be the server host or have admin privileges. If you’re not, none of this will work, obviously. I’m running my own server, so that was the easy part for me.

Once I was in the game, I had to enable the admin access. I found out you do this by setting an admin password in the “*” file. That took a while find the correct file, cause there are so many in the folder. But after some trial and error, I finally add the correct password.
The Fun Begins: Using the Commands
After setting that up, I could finally start using the commands. You just hit Enter to open the chat, and then you type a slash (/) followed by the command. It’s pretty straightforward, like most other games.
Here is the command to give myself admin access:
- /AdminPassword yourpassword
I typed my password right in place of ‘yourpassword’ and boom, admin mode activated. That little confirmation message was a sweet, sweet sight.
My Favorite Commands (So Far)
I’ve been playing around with a bunch of commands, and some are definitely more useful (or just plain fun) than others. Here are some of the ones I’ve been using the most:
- /Save – I use this all the time. Save your game manually, just in case.
- /KickPlayer [SteamID] – Boot players. Replace ‘[SteamID]’ with the offender’s actual Steam ID.
- /BanPlayer [SteamID] – Ban em forever! Again, use the actual Steam ID.
- /Broadcast [Message] – Sends a message to everyone on the server. I used it to announce when I was messing with settings. Just replace ‘[Message]’ with whatever you want to say.
- /TeleportToPlayer [SteamID] -This lets you instantly teleport to any player on the server. It is my favorate command when my friends are in trouble!
- /ShutDown [Seconds] [Message] – Shuts down the server. You can set a timer (in seconds) and a custom message.
Wrapping Up
So yeah, that’s my experience with Palworld admin commands so far. I’m still learning new stuff, but these were the essentials that I wish I’d known from the start. It’s made managing my server so much easier, and honestly, a lot more fun. Hope this helps anyone else out there who’s just getting into the admin side of things!
