Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Apex Legends lately, and you know what’s caught my eye? Revenant’s skins. That synthetic nightmare has some seriously cool looks, and I wanted to snag a few for myself. So, here’s how I went about getting some sweet, sweet Revenant skins.
Checking Out the Store
First things first, I headed straight to the in-game store. You know, the usual spot. I scrolled through the featured section, hoping to find a bundle or a special offer with a Revenant skin. Sometimes they have those rotating deals, and you can get lucky. No dice this time, though. Just some stuff for other Legends.

The Legend Menu
Next up, I navigated to the “Legends” tab. Clicked on Revenant, obviously. From there, you can see all the skins he has available. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing, checking out each one. There are so many! Some are just recolors, but others are completely different outfits.
Crafting and Apex Coins
Okay, so here’s where it gets a little tricky. You can unlock skins in a couple of ways. One way is with crafting metals. I checked my inventory – not nearly enough. I’ve been spending those on other things, rookie mistake. The other way is with Apex Coins, the premium currency. I weighed my options. I really wanted that one particular skin, the “False Idol” one… it just looks so menacing.
I did not have enough crafting metal, I could have waited to get more by just keep playing, but I really wanted the skin.
Making a Decision
So, I decided to bite the bullet and buy some Apex Coins. Yeah, yeah, I know, spending real money on a game. But hey, I enjoy it, and that skin was calling to me. I picked the smallest pack of coins that would cover the cost of the skin. It wasn’t too bad, honestly.
The Purchase
With the Apex Coins in my account, I went back to Revenant’s skin page. Found the “False Idol” skin, double-checked the price, and hit that unlock button. Boom! Instantly added to my collection. There’s something satisfying about that, you know?
Showing it Off
Of course, I immediately equipped the new skin. No point in having it if you’re not going to use it, right? I jumped into a few matches, ready to terrorize the Outlands in my new look. And you know what? It felt good. Maybe it’s just psychological, but I swear I played better with that skin on. Placebo effect, maybe? Who cares!
So there you have it. I went in to find the best skins, compared the way to get it and ended up getting the one Revenant skin with Apex Coins.
