Okay, so I ran into this super annoying glitch in Madden 24 the other day, and I just had to figure out what was going on. It was messing with the uniforms, making them look all sorts of wrong. I couldn’t have that! So I spent a bunch of time messing around, and I think I finally cracked the code, or, well, at least found a workaround.
My Initial Panic!
First, I noticed the problem. I was setting up a game, all excited to see my team’s custom uniforms, and boom! They were totally glitched. Colors were off, logos were misplaced, it was a mess! I was so frustrated I almost didn’t get in game.
Diving into the Settings
I am determined. I started by poking around in the game’s settings. I checked everything related to uniforms, display options, even the console’s display settings. I spent like, an hour, restarted the game, restarted my console and still nothing. I was starting to think my save file was corrupted or something, and I was getting really worried.
Experimenting with Workarounds
Then, I started thinking outside the box. What if I could “reset” the uniforms somehow? This is what I did:
- Changed Teams:First I create a game and change my team to some other, and I picked a totally random team with default uniforms.
- Started a Quick Game: Then, I started a quick play game with those random teams, just to get into a match.
- Backed Out and Re-selected:I quit the game and set it up all over again. I went back to my custom team and their custom uniforms.
- Fingers Crossed:And… it worked! Mostly. It wasn’t perfect, but the major glitches were gone.
The (Imperfect) Result
I won’t lie, it’s not a 100% fix. Sometimes the glitch comes back, especially if I switch between different game modes. But doing this little “reset” routine usually clears it up. It’s annoying, but it’s way better than playing with completely messed-up uniforms.
Hoping for a Patch
Seriously, EA, if you’re listening, please patch this! It’s driving me, and probably a lot of other players, crazy. But for now, this workaround is keeping me (somewhat) sane. I hope this will helps other players too!
