Alright, so I’ve been grinding on NBA 2K24, and man, that VC (Virtual Currency) is a real pain. You need it for everything, and it feels like it takes forever to earn enough. So, I started looking for ways to get more without, you know, breaking the bank. Here’s what I did.
Daily Pick’Em
First thing I started doing, religiously, was the Daily Pick’Em. It’s in the MyCareer mode. You just predict the winners of real-life NBA games. Seemed easy. It’s a few quick clicks, and you get some VC if you guess right. I wasn’t great at it, to be honest, but even a few correct picks add up. I started making it part of my morning routine, like checking email.

Daily Bonus
Then there’s the Daily Bonus. It’s super simple. You get a small amount of VC just for logging in each day. I made sure to log in every single day, even if I only had a few minutes to play. It’s not much, but it’s free VC, and it definitely adds up over time.
Playing MyCareer Games
Okay, this is obvious, but playing MyCareer games is the main way to earn VC. I focused on playing well, hitting those performance goals, and getting good teammate grades. The better you play, the more VC you earn per game. I tried to find a difficulty level that was challenging but where I could still consistently perform well.
Endorsements
As I progressed in MyCareer, I started getting endorsement deals. These are contracts with companies that give you VC for doing certain things in games, like scoring a certain number of points or getting a certain number of assists. I paid attention to the requirements for each endorsement and tried to complete them during my games.
Neighborhood Games
I also started playing more games in the Neighborhood. These are streetball-style games that can be a quicker way to earn VC than full MyCareer games. Plus they’re great to improve skill.
2KTV Segments
I also found out about these 2KTV segments. They’re basically short videos you watch, and sometimes they have interactive questions. If you answer the questions correctly, you get some VC. It’s not a ton, but it’s easy VC while you’re taking a break from playing. I would usually watch the segments at night before bed.
My Overall Results
So, by consistently doing all of these things, I was able to build up my VC balance much faster than before. It’s still a grind, but it’s definitely more manageable. I didn’t buy any VC packs, by the way. All of this was earned in-game. I figured it’s not about some magic trick; it’s about being consistent and taking advantage of all the ways the game lets you earn VC.
