Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with FC 24 TOTW 2:
Alright, so I jumped into FC 24 this week, aiming to snag some of those sweet Team of the Week 2 (TOTW 2) players. I’ve been playing these games for years, and the weekly TOTW grind is always something I look forward to. Gotta keep that squad fresh, you know?

Getting Started
First things first, I checked out the available Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). I always start there. Sometimes you get lucky and can build a decent team with players you already have sitting around, and maybe even get a TOTW player that way. It is a little bit of work, but in my mind, it is all part of the process.
Playing Matches
Then, I hit the matches. I played a bunch of Squad Battles and Rivals. My usual routine. I’m not the best player, but I can hold my own. I usually try to get to at least Elite 1 in Squad Battles, because the rewards are pretty good. I have a system, a process if you will, and I try to stick to it.
I’m using my tried-and-true Premier League squad. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I find that sticking with a squad that has great chemistry is the best way to proceed.
Opening Packs
After grinding out some games, I had earned a few packs. Now, I’m not gonna lie, pack luck is… well, it’s luck. But the hope is there. I am like a kid in a candy store. This week, nothing super exciting. A few 83-rated players, but no TOTW cards for me this time. That’s the way it goes, though. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don’t. All part of the journey, and I will continue to open packs.
Tweaking the Squad
Even though I didn’t get any TOTW 2 players from packs, I still did some tinkering with my lineup. I used the transfer market to pick up a couple of players I had my eye on. I find it to be a great way to make improvements to my squad.
The Grind Continues
So, that’s where I’m at with TOTW 2. No major scores, but I’m still having fun. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, right? It’s all about that slow and steady upgrade, and I’m in it for the long haul. The grind is something that I actually look forward to, and enjoy.
I’ll keep playing, keep opening packs, and keep tweaking my squad. Maybe next week I’ll get lucky! Fingers crossed, for sure!
