So, I’ve been really digging into Pokemon Go lately, trying to figure out which Pokemon to evolve my Gloom into – Vileplume or Bellossom? It’s a tough choice, man. I started by checking out their stats and stuff online.
First, I looked up Vileplume. It’s a Grass/Poison type, which is cool, but also kinda common. I saw that it’s got some good defense, but it’s not the strongest attacker out there. Then I started researching Bellossom. It’s a pure Grass type, which is interesting. Its stats seem a bit more balanced than Vileplume’s, but maybe not as specialized.

Comparing Movesets
Next, I got into their moves. This is where things got a bit tricky. Vileplume can learn some powerful Poison moves, which could be handy against Fairy types. But Bellossom? It has access to some good Grass moves, and even some Psychic ones, which is a nice surprise.
- Vileplume: Razor Leaf, Sludge Bomb, Moonblast – pretty solid.
- Bellossom: Razor Leaf, Leaf Blade, Dazzling Gleam – also pretty good, different type coverage.
Thinking About My Play Style
After looking at all that, I started thinking about how I actually play the game. I do a lot of raids, so having strong attackers is important. But I also like having Pokemon that can last a while in battle. I realized that Vileplume’s Poison typing might make it weak against Psychic types, which are pretty common in raids. And Bellossom? Well, it doesn’t have those extra weaknesses, but it’s also not as strong against certain types.
Making the Decision
Honestly, I went back and forth on this for a while. I even asked some of my friends who play Pokemon Go, and they were pretty split too! Some liked Vileplume for its Poison moves, others preferred Bellossom’s more balanced approach. In the end, I decided to evolve my Gloom into a Bellossom. I just felt like it fit my play style a little better, and I liked the idea of having a pure Grass type. Plus, it’s kinda cute, right?
So, there you have it. That’s how I ended up choosing Bellossom over Vileplume. It was a tough decision, but I’m happy with it. Now, I gotta go train it up and see how it does in battle! Hope you are doing well in Pokemon Go, too!
