Makes sense, right? But here’s the thing: Confusion actually hits harder. It’s got a higher DPS (that’s Damage Per Second, for the uninitiated) and generates energy at roughly the same rate as Water Gun.
So, I went with Confusion. Trust me, it feels much better dealing that extra damage, even if it is a psychic type move on Slowbro.
Picking the Charged Moves
Next, Charged Moves. This is where things get a little more interesting. You want a good mix of damage and type coverage. After a lot of battling, I found that Surf and Ice Beam are the way to go.

I tried out other moves like Psychic and Water Pulse, but they just didn’t feel as effective. Psychic takes forever to charge, and Water Pulse is just weaker than Surf. Stick with Surf and Ice Beam, and you won’t be disappointed.
