Alright, let’s talk about David Beckham’s FIFA rating. I’ve been a huge fan of FIFA games for years, and of course, Beckham is a legend. So, I was curious about his in-game stats and how they’ve changed over the years.
First, I fired up my old FIFA games. I have a bunch of them, going back to FIFA 04. I wanted to see how EA Sports rated Beckham back in his prime and how it compares to his Icon cards in the newer games.

In FIFA 04, Beckham was a beast. He was playing for Real Madrid then, and his overall rating was around 93, I think. His passing and free-kick stats were almost maxed out. Playing with him was so much fun. You could score from almost anywhere with his free kicks, and his crosses were always on point.

Started digging through older FIFA versions.
-
Checked out Beckham’s stats in FIFA 04.
-
Noticed his high overall rating and amazing free-kick accuracy.
Then, I jumped to FIFA 14, which was around the time he retired. His rating had dropped a bit, naturally, but he was still a solid player. His pace was lower, but his passing and shooting were still top-notch. It was cool to see how the game reflected his real-life decline due to age.
After that, I moved on to the more recent FIFA games, where Beckham is available as an Icon. These Icon cards are special versions that represent players at their peak. I played a few matches with his Icon card, and man, it felt like he was back in his prime! His passing was insane, and scoring free kicks felt easy again. Even though I know the game has changed in many ways since the early days, but there is still something special about playing with him, especially in an Icon card.
Key Observations

Playing with Icon Beckham is a blast from the past.
So, that’s my little journey through David Beckham’s FIFA ratings. It was fun revisiting the older games and comparing his stats across different versions. And I also had much fun playing with him in-game! EA did a pretty good job of capturing his legendary skills, especially in his Icon cards. It makes me appreciate how much of a legend he really is.

If you’re a FIFA fan and you haven’t tried playing with Beckham’s Icon card, I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to experience the magic of one of football’s greatest players.
