Alright, so I’ve been playing a ton of Animal Crossing lately, and I really wanted to get some red windflowers going on my island. They just look so darn pretty! I tried a few different things, but finally figured out a method that worked like a charm. Here’s how I did it.
First, I planted a bunch of orange windflowers and some white windflowers. I made sure to leave some space between each flower so they could, you know, do their thing. Then, I just watered them every day. I mean, every single day. Gotta keep those babies hydrated!

- Planted orange windflowers.
- Planted white windflowers.
- Left space between them.
- Watered them daily.
After a few days, I noticed some pink windflowers popping up. That was a good sign, but not what I was after. I also got some purple ones, also not what I wanted! I kept at it, watering those flowers like my life depended on it.
Then, finally, boom! I saw a red windflower sprout. It was a glorious moment, let me tell you. I felt like such an accomplished gardener. It took a while but I finally got it!
So, if you’re struggling to get red windflowers in Animal Crossing, just be patient and keep watering those orange and white ones. You’ll get there eventually. Trust me, it’s worth it when you finally see that beautiful red flower blooming on your island.
My tips
- Don’t give up! It takes time.
- Water every day, without fail.
- Enjoy the process, even the “wrong” colors can be pretty.
Good luck with your flower breeding, folks! It might take some time but it is very fun to do!
