Okay, so, I was trying to make a Yuji Itadori skin for my, uh, project. I’m not super experienced with this kind of stuff, but I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, how hard could it be, right?
First off, I gathered a bunch of pictures of Yuji. You know, from the anime, manga, fan art, whatever I could find online. I just wanted to get a good feel for his look, especially his iconic hoodie and those weird markings under his eyes.

Then, I started sketching. I grabbed my old drawing notebook and a pencil. And I doodled a basic figure and then tried to add Yuji’s features on top of it. The hoodie was kind of tricky. But I think I got it after a few tries. Those markings were surprisingly hard, though. They’re simple, but getting them to look right was a pain.
I decided to use a program, for the actual skin making. It’s, like, a super simple program for making pixel art. This way I can open it up and start placing pixels, trying to match the colors from my references.
I started with the head. I filled in the basic skin tone, then I added his pink, spiky hair. That took longer than I expected, but I think it looks decent. Next, I worked on his eyes and those markings. It was tough to get the shape right, because, you know, it’s just a few pixels. But I kept tweaking it until it looked somewhat like Yuji.
The body was next. I basically just copied the colors and shapes from the hoodie in my sketch. It was pretty straightforward, but it still took some time to get the shading right. I wanted it to look a little bit, you know, realistic, even though it’s a pixelated skin.
After finishing the front, I moved on to the back and sides. This part was a bit tedious. Because I had to make sure everything lined up. I didn’t want any weird gaps or anything. It was a lot of back and forth, checking and double-checking.
Finally, I think I finished it. I mean, it’s not perfect. But it definitely looks like Yuji Itadori. At least, I think so. I’m pretty proud of it. Considering I didn’t really know what I was doing when I started.
The Results:
- Time Spent: Probably way too long. Maybe like 5-6 hours? I lost track.
- Frustration Level: High at times, especially with the facial markings.
- Satisfaction Level: Pretty high now that it’s done.
- Improvements to be made: There are probably small details that could be adjusted, I just need to take breaks in between.
So yeah, that’s my experience making a Yuji Itadori skin. It was a fun little project, even though it was challenging at times. I learned a lot, and I might even try making more skins in the future. Who knows?
