Okay, so, let’s talk about this Shadow Regice thing. I’ve been trying to catch this beast for a while now, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride.
First off, I heard about this Shadow Raid thing popping up. I thought, “Cool, a new challenge!” I rounded up my usual crew, you know, the guys I always raid with. We’re a pretty solid team, or so I thought.
The Preparation
We started by looking at what we had. A bunch of Machamps, some Metagrosses, a few good fire-types. I figured we were good to go. I powered up my best Machamp, threw in a second move for good measure. Felt pretty confident, honestly.
First Attempt
- We jumped into the raid. Five of us, ready to roll.
- The battle started, and bam! Regice just started crushing us.
- We all used up our revives way faster than we’d expected.
- We did managed to get it in red, but we all fainted before the finish.
It was a total wipeout. We barely made a dent in it. I was shocked. I mean, we’ve taken down Legendaries before, no problem. But this Shadow Regice? It was on a whole other level. It felt like hitting a brick wall, only the wall was shooting out these crazy powerful moves.
Second Try
We regrouped, did some more research. We all used those Shadow Shards you need to create Purified Gems, figured out we needed at least 8 each, that we should use them at the same time. People were saying it was all about these Purified Gems. So, we grinded a bit, got enough shards, made the gems, and went in for round two.
- This time, the start of the battle was the same, Regice was still taking us down quickly.
- We used the Purified Gems at the same time when it is enraged.
- It got subdued!
- We all kept throwing everything we had at it.
- Finally, after a nail-biting battle, we took it down!
Man, the relief! We were all cheering, it felt like a huge victory. I managed to catch it on my third throw. It wasn’t the best IVs, but hey, it was a Shadow Regice! And I’ve heard that even a 0% Shadow is still better than a 100% regular one. I’m still not sure if that’s true, but it sounds cool, right?
So, yeah, that’s my Shadow Regice story. It was tough, it was frustrating, but in the end, it was totally worth it. If you’re planning on taking it on, be prepared. Get those Purified Gems ready, team up with some strong trainers, and don’t give up. It’s a challenge, but it’s a fun one.
