Okay, so I’ve been hyped for Mortal Kombat 1, like, forever. When I heard about the early access, I knew I had to get in on that. First thing I did was check the official website, just to make sure I got my facts straight. They laid it all out pretty clear, who gets early access and when. Turns out, if you pre-ordered the Premium or Kollector’s Edition, you’re golden.
I already had my eye on the Premium Edition, so I went ahead and pre-ordered it through the PlayStation Store. The process was smooth, no hiccups there. After the payment went through, I was basically counting down the minutes. I marked it on my calendar, circled it in red, you know, the whole nine yards.

Then came the waiting game. I kept checking the PlayStation Store, refreshing the page like a maniac. Finally, I saw the “Download” button light up, and man, I slammed that button so hard! The download started, and I could barely contain myself. I watched that progress bar like a hawk, willing it to go faster.
The Moment of Truth
Once the download finished, I fired up the game, and bam, there it was, Mortal Kombat 1, in all its gory glory. The intro cinematic started playing, and I was hooked instantly. The graphics, the sound, everything was just top-notch. I spent the next few hours just soaking it all in, trying out different characters, getting my butt kicked a few times, but hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
- Pre-ordered the Premium Edition – This was the key to getting early access.
- Waited for the release time – Patience is a virtue, or so they say.
- Downloaded the game – The longest part, but so worth it.
- Played the game – The best part, obviously!
All in all, getting early access to Mortal Kombat 1 was a blast. It was totally worth the extra cash for the Premium Edition. Now I’m just grinding, trying to get good before the rest of the world jumps in. Gotta get that edge, you know?
