So, I’ve been messing around with this game, trying to figure out the best race for a warrior. Man, it’s been a journey, let me tell you.
Started off thinking, “Hey, Orcs are the obvious choice, right?” They’re big, they’re tough, everyone picks ’em. So, I rolled an Orc, got him all geared up, and started smashing things. It was fun for a while, yeah, but something felt…off. Like, I wasn’t really getting the most out of it.
Then I thought, maybe I should try something a little different. Went with a Human next. They’re supposed to be good at everything, you know, the jack-of-all-trades type. And it was okay. I mean, I could hold my own in a fight, but it wasn’t anything special. Felt kinda generic, to be honest. I found that I didn’t like human very much, either.
After that, I decided to get a bit crazy. Tried a Gnome. Yeah, a tiny little Gnome warrior. It was hilarious, watching this little dude run around swinging a sword bigger than he was. But in the end, it just wasn’t practical. I got squished…a lot.
- Tried Orc: Too mainstream.
- Tried Human: Too boring.
- Tried Gnome: Too…squishy.
I was starting to get a little frustrated. I mean, I just wanted to find a race that felt right, you know? Something that clicked. So, I took a step back, did some reading, looked at what other people were saying. And that’s when I stumbled upon the Dwarves.
Dwarves
Now, Dwarves, they’re not the flashiest race. They’re not gonna win any beauty contests. But they’re tough as nails. They’ve got this natural resistance to magic, which is huge in this game. And they’re strong. Not Orc strong, but strong enough to hold their own and then some. Also they have some unique skills.
So, I made a Dwarf warrior, and let me tell you, it was like a light bulb went off. Finally, I felt like I was playing the game the way it was meant to be played. I was charging into battle, shrugging off spells, and just wrecking everything in my path. It was glorious!
I spent hours just running around, testing out different abilities, fighting all sorts of enemies. I even took on some bosses that I’d struggled with before, and I was just crushing them. It was such a satisfying feeling, finally finding my groove.
So, yeah, after all that experimenting, I’m pretty confident in saying that, at least for me, Dwarves are the best race for a warrior. They’ve got the durability, the strength, and that magic resistance is just a game-changer. If you’re struggling to find the right race, give Dwarves a shot. You might be surprised!
