Alright, so I saw this thing popping up all over my feed – the Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen Cup. Sounded kinda cool, and honestly, I’ve been itching for a new challenge in Fortnite. Plus, who doesn’t love some Jujutsu Kaisen, right? So, I decided to jump in and see what the hype was all about.
Getting Started
First things first, I checked the official rules. You know, gotta make sure I’m not breaking any rules before I even start. It was a “Zero Build Duos” tournament, which, thank goodness. I’m not the best builder out there, so Zero Build is definitely my jam. I grabbed my usual Fortnite buddy, and we started mapping out a basic strategy. Nothing too fancy, just making sure we had each other’s backs and wouldn’t get caught off guard.

The First Few Matches
Man, the first few matches were rough. We were a bit rusty, and everyone seemed super sweaty. We landed in some popular spots, hoping to get some early eliminations, but we mostly just ended up getting third-partied. We got knocked out pretty quickly a couple of times, which was a bit demoralizing, not gonna lie. But we kept at it, trying to learn from each mistake.
Changing Our Strategy
After a few losses, we decided to switch things up. We started landing in less crowded areas, focusing on looting up and getting decent gear before engaging in fights. We also started paying more attention to the circle, making sure we were always in a good position. It was a slower approach, for sure, but it definitely started paying off.
Getting into the Groove
Slowly but surely, we started getting the hang of it. We were communicating better, coordinating our attacks, and making smarter decisions. We even managed to snag a couple of Victory Royales! It felt amazing, especially after those initial struggles. The Jujutsu Kaisen themed stuff was pretty cool too. I particularly liked using the Hollow Purple to destroy enemy buildings, so powerful.
The Final Stretch
We were climbing up the leaderboard, but we knew we needed to push even harder to secure a top spot. The competition was getting fierce, and everyone was playing their hearts out. We had some intense fights, some close calls, and a few heartbreaking losses. But we stayed focused, stayed positive, and kept grinding.
The Results
In the end, we didn’t quite make it to the very top, but we still did pretty well! We ended up in the top 5% of players, which I’m honestly super proud of. It was a tough tournament, but it was also a ton of fun. It was a great experience overall.
Final Thoughts
Would I do it again? Absolutely! It was a blast, and it definitely rekindled my love for the game. Plus, I got some cool new cosmetics out of it, so that’s always a bonus. It’s always fun to see these kinds of collaborations in the game. If you’re a Fortnite player and a Jujutsu Kaisen fan, I’d definitely recommend checking out the next Cup if there is one. Just be prepared to sweat a little! You might even learn a thing or two about teamwork and strategy along the way.
- Land in less crowded areas if you are struggling.
- Focus on getting good loot.
- Communicate with your partner.
- Don’t give up!
That’s it for my Fortnite Jujutsu Kaisen Cup experience. Hope you enjoyed the ride!
