Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this thing called “legend pick rates” and thought I’d share what I found. It’s basically about which characters people are choosing the most in this game, Apex Legends. I was curious, so I started digging in.
First, I needed to figure out where to get the data. I found this website “ApexLegendsStatus”, that seems to track these things. Nice! So I grabbed the data from there.
Getting my hands dirty
After getting the data, I played around with it. I mean, it’s just a bunch of numbers at first. You gotta make sense of it, right? I wanted to see which legends were the most popular, and which ones people were, like, totally ignoring.
- First off, I looked at the overall numbers. You know, just to get a general idea. Turns out, Wraith was the top pick for a lot of folks. Makes sense, she’s pretty cool with her abilities and all.
- Then, I tried to break it down a bit. I figured maybe different types of players liked different legends. But to keep it simple at first, I just looked at everyone together.
- After that, I wanted to see if I could visualize it. You know, charts and stuff. Makes it easier to see the trends. I’m not a data scientist or anything, but I figured out how to make some basic charts. It is easy to find the top three characters.
Playing around with the chart
This website has a neat trick. You can click on a legend’s name and make it disappear from the chart. And if you want to focus on a specific part, you can just drag your mouse and zoom in. Pretty handy, I gotta say.
So yeah, that’s pretty much what I did. I grabbed some data, looked at the numbers, made some charts, and played around with the results. It was interesting to see which legends people are loving the most right now. I thought maybe some settings would help people play better, so I looked up some stuff about the “Best Settings For Apex Legends PC”. Might help, might not, who knows.
It’s not rocket science or anything, but it was a fun little project. Learned a few things along the way, so that’s always good. Maybe I’ll dive deeper into this stuff later. There’s probably a lot more to uncover. For now, I just wanted to share my little adventure with you guys.
