So, the other day I was thinking, how do I figure out which legends are the most popular in Apex Legends? I mean, everyone’s got their favorites, right? But I wanted to know what the actual numbers were, across all platforms, you know, PC, XBOX, the whole shebang. So I started digging around.
First, I just played a bunch of games. Like, a lot. I kept a notebook and just jotted down which legends I saw the most often in my matches. It was kinda messy, and honestly, not super accurate, since it was just my own games, but it was a start. I noticed some characters seemed to pop up way more than others, but I needed more data, like way more.

Diving Deeper
Then I figured, there’s gotta be a better way, right? So I started looking online. I found a couple of websites and stuff that talked about legend pick rates. They had these fancy charts and graphs, which was cool, but it was a little overwhelming at first. I mean, there’s so much info out there.
- Started by just playing a ton of games and keeping track in a notebook.
- Looked up pick rates online and found some cool, but overwhelming, charts.
I started reading through some articles to try and understand what it all meant. They talked about how higher pick rates usually mean a legend is either super strong or just really fun to play, or maybe both. And how low pick rates might mean a legend is kinda weak or just not as popular for whatever reason. It was all pretty interesting.
I spent a few days just, like, absorbing all this info, you know? I was looking at different websites, comparing the data, trying to get a good sense of the overall picture. It was a little tedious, but it was also kinda fun, like being a detective or something. I wanted the most accurate data possible.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Finally, I decided to try and make my own chart, just to see if I could. I grabbed the data from a few different sources, threw it into a spreadsheet, and started messing around with different chart types. It took a while, but I finally got something that looked halfway decent. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine, and it helped me understand the whole pick rate thing a lot better.
So yeah, that’s how I figured out which legends are the most popular in Apex Legends. It was a bit of a journey, but I learned a lot along the way. And now, I have a much better understanding of the game and why people pick the legends they do. And, hey, I can show off my cool chart to my friends!
- Read a bunch of articles to understand what pick rates really mean.
- Spent days comparing data from different sources.
- Made my own chart using data from multiple places.
It was a fun little project. Maybe next, I’ll try to figure out the win rates for each legend, or something like that. The possibilities are endless!
