Okay, so I’ve been grinding Apex Legends Season 23 like crazy, and boy, has it been a ride. I wanted to share my experience with figuring out which Legends are worth your time and which ones… well, not so much. I’m no pro, but I’ve put in enough hours to have some opinions.
First off, this season is sweaty as hell. Ranked has been a real challenge, and picking the right Legend can make a huge difference. I started the season just messing around with different characters, seeing who felt good to play.

I quickly realized that some Legends just weren’t cutting it for me. I won’t name names, but let’s just say a few of them felt like they were lagging behind the others. On the flip side, some Legends really surprised me with how strong they are this season.
- Bangalore: Smokes are super useful, and her ult is great for pushing teams or getting out of a sticky situation. She’s a solid choice for sure.
- Horizon: Her ability to get to high ground quickly is a game-changer, and her black hole ultimate can really mess up a team’s positioning.
- Fuse: Oh boy, I’m starting to really dig Fuse. This guy throws grenades like there’s no tomorrow. You can really put some serious pressure on squads with him.
Experimenting with Different Legends
I spent a good chunk of time just trying out different Legends in various situations. I’d play a few games with one, see how they felt in different maps, and then switch to another. It was a bit of a grind, but it was worth it to get a feel for each Legend’s strengths and weaknesses. It takes time and patience, but don’t give up too quickly on a Legend. Sometimes, it takes a few games to really get the hang of their abilities.
Analyzing the Meta
After a while, I started to see some patterns. Some Legends were consistently performing well, while others were struggling. I paid attention to what the top players were using, and that gave me some good insights too. I even watched some streams and tournaments to see how the pros were playing certain Legends. It’s amazing what you can learn from watching the best of the best.
Final Thoughts
So, after all that experimenting and grinding, I’ve come up with my own personal tier list. It’s not perfect, and it might change as the season goes on, but it’s a good starting point. I think it’s important to remember that every Legend has their own unique playstyle, and what works for one player might not work for another. I encourage everyone to try out different Legends and find what works best for them. Anyway, I thought this was worth sharing with all my fellow Apex addicts out there. Let me know in the comments what you guys think, or if you’ve found a hidden gem that I haven’t tried yet. I’m always up for trying out new strats. Happy gaming, and good luck climbing those ranks!
