Okay, so I wanted to get my car tuned just right for the Miami track in F1 23. This track is pretty new and it’s no joke. You’ve got these long, sweeping corners that really test how stable your car is.
First off, I started messing with the tyre pressure. See, getting the tyre pressure right can make a huge difference in how the car handles, especially in those fast corners. I pumped them up a bit more than usual, figured it would help keep the car steady. It’s a bit of a guessing game at first, but you get a feel for it.

Then I tinkered with the brake bias. This is all about how much braking power goes to the front versus the back wheels. I shifted it a little more to the front. I thought, “If I can brake a bit harder into those turns, I can keep my speed up coming out of them.”
After that, I dove into the suspension settings. I’m no engineer, but I know a stiffer suspension can help with responsiveness. So, I tightened things up a bit. It felt like the car was more eager to change direction, which is what you want on a track like Miami.
Aerodynamics Adjustments
- Front Wing: I dialed in a bit more downforce on the front wing. I figured, “More downforce equals more grip, right?” It seemed to help the car stick to the track better in those fast sections.
- Rear Wing: I also adjusted the rear wing to match the front. It’s all about balance. You don’t want the front end gripping like crazy while the rear is all loose.
I spent a good chunk of time just driving laps, making little tweaks here and there. It’s kind of tedious, but you start to notice the small changes. Like, “Oh, that corner felt smoother that time,” or “Whoa, I almost lost it there.”
Finally, I felt like I had a setup that was working pretty well. The car was stable through those fast corners, but still nimble enough to handle the tighter sections. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a heck of a lot better than where I started.
I even managed to pull off a win in a race! I was stoked. It’s a great feeling when you put in the work to tune your car and it pays off on the track. I thought, “Man, all that tinkering was worth it.”
So yeah, that’s my story of setting up my car for Miami in F1 23. It’s a lot of trial and error, but it’s super satisfying when you get it right. And I’m always happy to share what I learn, hope this helps some of you guys out there!
