Okay, so, today I was messing around with Yuumi in League of Legends. This little magical cat is a trip to play as a support, and I’ve been trying to figure out who she works best with.
I spent a good chunk of the day just hopping into games and trying out different ADC partners. You know, seeing which combos felt good and which ones just totally flopped.

-
First up, I played a few matches with some of the usual suspects. We tried Ezreal, who’s always a safe bet.
-
Then I switched it up and went for some less common pairings. I even gave Jhin a try, just to see if his long-range poke would mesh well with Yuumi’s heals and buffs. Played a game with Lucian as well, his mobility seemed like it would be a good match.
My Findings
The thing about Yuumi is, she really changes how you play the lane. Since she can just sit on you and be untargetable, you’ve gotta be way more aggressive than usual. We pushed hard, tried to poke the enemy down, and basically just went all-in whenever we had the chance. The strong ADC really make a big difference.
Some of the matchups were a total disaster. Like, we got stomped. Others felt surprisingly good. For example, I found that Yuumi and Caitlyn are a mean combo. Cait’s traps, combined with Yuumi’s speed boosts, made it super easy to lock down enemies and just delete them.
Another one that worked surprisingly well was Yuumi and Sivir. Sivir’s spell shield, plus Yuumi’s heals, made us almost unkillable. We just farmed up and scaled into these late-game monsters. It’s like having two ADCs in one! Well, Yuumi is just a little bit weaker than an ADC, but her power is strong enough.
Conclusion
After a whole day of experimenting, I realized that Yuumi’s best partners are the ones who can really take advantage of her unique playstyle. You need someone who’s not afraid to go ham and who can dish out a ton of damage while Yuumi keeps them alive. It’s all about finding that perfect balance of aggression and survivability. I keep practicing now!
So, yeah, that’s my Yuumi adventure for today. It was a wild ride, but I definitely learned a lot. If you’re a Yuumi player, definitely give some of these pairings a try. You might be surprised at how well they work!
