Okay, so I just finished up playing this game called Bugsnax, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride! I decided to go all-in and aim for that platinum trophy, you know, the one you get for doing absolutely everything in the game.
First off, I started by just playing through the main story. It’s important to get a feel for the game, you know? So I went through all the main quests, got to know all those weird Grumpus characters, and started to figure out this whole Bugsnax thing. The story itself is pretty interesting, it keeps you guessing till the end, which I really liked.

Then came the real work. Catching all 100 different species of Bugsnax. Let me tell you, some of these little buggers are tricky! I spent hours setting up traps, figuring out their patterns, and luring them in with all sorts of sauces. There’s this one called a Bunger, it’s like a burger with legs, and you have to get two of them to run into each other. Took me forever to get that one right!
I also had to do a bunch of side quests for the Grumpuses. Some of them were easy, like finding lost items or feeding them specific Bugsnax. But others were a real pain. There was this one guy, Wiggle, he wanted me to catch all these singing Bugsnax. It took some time figuring out how to get them, but I finally got it done.
Here’s a breakdown of what I did to make it easier:
- Completed the main story: Played through all the main quests to understand the game and unlock new areas.
- Caught all 100 Bugsnax: Studied each snak, set up traps, used sauces, and figured out how to catch every single one.
- Finished all side quests: Helped out all the Grumpuses with their weird requests.
- Transformed every Grumpus: Fed them Bugsnax until they were completely covered in them, which was pretty hilarious, to be honest.
After all that, I finally got the platinum trophy! It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. The game is super fun and quirky, and I had a blast playing it. If you’re looking for a fun and challenging game, I definitely recommend giving Bugsnax a try!
