Alright, so the other day I decided to dive back into League of Legends. You know, it’s been a while, and I figured, why not try out that One For All mode? Sounds like a blast, right? Five of the same champion on each team? Crazy town. I was curious, though, which champs are actually good in this mode. So, I started my quest – a deep dive into figuring out the best champs for One For All.
First things first, I fired up the game and poked around the different champions. There are, like, a million of them! Okay, maybe not a million, but 166 to be exact. It’s a lot. Each one has its own thing – some are good at shooting from afar, others are like, up-close brawlers, and some just wanna help out their buddies. It was pretty overwhelming. I was trying to think which ones would be totally OP (that’s overpowered, for you non-gamers) when you’ve got five of them running around.

Then, I did what any sane person would do – I hit up the internet. I was like, “There’s gotta be some list out there, right?” And bam, I found a bunch of tier lists. These things rank the champions from “OMG, so good” to “Yeah, maybe don’t pick that one.” I was looking at win rates, which patches were changing things, and it started to make a little more sense. I used these stats to decide which champs to test out first.
The Testing Phase
With a clearer idea, I jumped into some games. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I started with some of the top-tier picks from the lists I found. Playing five of the same champ is as crazy as it sounds. Sometimes it was like a perfectly oiled machine, other times it was just a hilarious mess. I started to see which champs were really working well together and which ones were just kinda “meh.”
- Game 1: I picked a top-tier mage. Five of us were just blowing people up from a distance. It felt amazing! Total domination.
- Game 2: I tried a tanky character. We were unkillable! But man, it was slow. We won, but it took forever.
- Game 3: A bit of a mixed bag. I went with a champion that was supposed to be good, but in practice, it was tough to coordinate. We got stomped.
After a few more rounds, I started to compile my own little list. It wasn’t just about who was strong on paper, but who was actually fun to play in a team of five. And honestly, some of the lower-tier champs turned out to be a riot. I also started noting down builds – you know, which items to buy for each champion to make them even more powerful.
Putting It All Together
So, I’ve been playing a bunch and taking notes, and now I’ve got a pretty good handle on this One For All thing. I’ve got my own personal tier list going, with notes on which champions are fun, which are strong, and which ones are just plain weird in this mode. There were so many champions that I needed to test out, I needed a way to remember which ones I had tried. I created a simple system of checking them off as I played them. This helped me keep track and ensured I gave each champion a fair shot.
I even started thinking about what makes a champion good in this mode. It’s not just about damage or being tough. It’s about how well they work together, how fun they are to play as a group, and if they can cover each other’s weaknesses. I kept refining my list, moving champions up or down based on my experiences. This was based on my own gameplay and the strategies that emerged during each match. Some champions that were lower on the list surprised me with their effectiveness, so they got bumped up. It was important to me to be flexible and adjust the list as I learned more.
And that’s where I’m at now. I’ve got this ever-evolving tier list, and I’m still playing, still tweaking. It’s been a blast, and I’ve learned a ton about the game in the process. Who knew that playing five of the same champion could be so nuts? It’s a whole different way to experience League of Legends, and I’m all about it. This ongoing process is something I plan to continue. Each game offers new insights, and I’m excited to see how my tier list evolves with more play. I’ll keep sharing updates as I go, so stay tuned for more of my One For All adventures!
