Okay, here is my sharing about catching a dace in Animal Crossing:
So I heard that catching a dace in Animal Crossing could be a bit tricky. Naturally, I was like, “Challenge accepted!” I started my quest by heading to the river, since that’s where they supposedly hang out.

I cast my line again and again, but all I got were those pesky small fries. Then, I remembered reading somewhere that daces are around all year. But even I know in game some fish only show up at certain time. So I played a whole day, still nothing. I’m not gonna lie, I almost gave up. I mean, how hard could it be to catch one measly fish?
- I tried different spots along the river.
- I made sure to check the shadow size – not too big, not too small.
- I even switched up my bait a few times, just in case.
Finally, after what felt like forever, I saw it – a medium-sized shadow. I held my breath, cast my line, and boom! I reeled it in, and there it was – a dace! It wasn’t huge or anything, but I was so stoked. I learned you need to be in the right place at the right time! The dace is in the river, and it can be caught any time of day or night.
It’s all about being patient and not giving up. Also I found that persistence really does pay off, even in a game. Now, I’ve got that dace in my collection, and it feels pretty darn good. Happy fishing, everyone!
