Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get back into League of Legends lately, but I didn’t want to just jump into solo queue. I wanted a team, you know? A group of people to actually play with, strategize, and maybe even climb the ranked ladder. So, I started this little project to find a League of Legends team, and let me tell you, it’s been an experience.
First, I tried the obvious routes. You know, just asking around my friends. Turns out, most of them either don’t play anymore or were already on full teams. Some of my friends suggested just queuing together and seeing what happens. Dead end.

Then, I hit the forums and online groups. I scrolled through tons of posts. It felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. I posted a few times myself, describing my playstyle, my preferred roles, and what I was looking for in a team. I did get a couple responses but most were people looking to fill 1-2 spots on a team. I wanted to build a new team.
Feeling a little discouraged, I decided to try a different approach. I started watching some smaller streamers who played League. My thought was that maybe I could find a community that way, and then, you know, find people to play with. This was actually kind of fun. I ended up finding a few cool streamers, chatting with them, and even playing a few games with their viewers. I found some chill people that weren’t toxic when I made mistakes.
After a while, I managed to find a few players who were also looking for a team. We started playing together regularly, trying out different team comps, and just generally having a good time. We’re not the best team in the world, but we’re learning, we’re improving, and most importantly, we’re having fun.
So, that’s where I’m at now. I finally found my League of Legends team, and it feels great. It took some time, some effort, and a lot of trial and error, but it was definitely worth it. Now, we’re just trying to play consistently, improve our communication, and see how far we can go.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
- Asked friends.
- Checked online forums and groups.
- Watched streamers and engaged with their communities.
- Played with different people.
- Formed a team with like-minded players.
It’s been a journey, but a good one. If you’re looking for a League of Legends team, don’t give up! Just keep trying different things, and you’ll eventually find your crew.
